12-hour Yoga Nidra Training

Yoga Nidra with Marianne Larochelle

12-hour Immersion | $333+tx

Enter the threshold between waking and dreaming.

Yoga Nidra, often called yogic sleep, is a profound guided meditation practice that invites you into a state of deep relaxation while maintaining awareness. Resting in the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep, the body releases tension, the nervous system resets, and the mind becomes quiet, receptive, and expansive.

During this 12-hour immersive teacher training at Studio Morpho Bleu in Montreal, you will discover both the scientific foundations and the mystical depth of this ancient practice.

From a neuroscience perspective, Yoga Nidra gently shifts the brain from active beta waves into slower alpha, theta, and delta states associated with healing, creativity, memory integration, and profound restoration. As the nervous system moves from "fight or flight" into the parasympathetic "rest and digest" response, stress hormones decrease, the heart rate slows, and the body's natural capacity for regeneration awakens. Many describe Yoga Nidra as a complete reset of the nervous system.

Yet Yoga Nidra is far more than relaxation.

In the yogic tradition, this in-between state is a sacred doorway into deeper layers of consciousness. As the thinking mind softens, awareness naturally expands beyond habitual patterns, opening space for intuition, insight, creativity, and transformation. It is here that Sankalpa—your heartfelt intention—takes root, allowing profound inner shifts to emerge with ease.

This training is designed for yoga teachers, wellness professionals, therapists, and dedicated practitioners wishing to deepen their understanding of consciousness and learn how to confidently guide others through this transformative practice.

During this training you will experience:

  • Deep states of conscious relaxation
  • Expanded awareness and subtle perception
  • A refined connection to your voice and presence
  • The awakening of imagination as a transformative tool
  • A profound reconnection with your inner world

You will learn:

  • The 8 stages of traditional Yoga Nidra
  • The science of the brain and nervous system in deep relaxation
  • Altered states of consciousness
  • The art of hypnotic and symbolic language
  • The power of imagery, metaphor, and perception
  • Techniques that stimulate healing and imagination
  • The use of voice as a guiding instrument
  • Sankalpa (intention) and its transformative application
  • The stages of absorption: Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi
  • The subtle body system (the Koshas)

More than a certification, this is an embodied experience.

This training is an invitation to become a space-holder for profound inner journeys, a guide through the landscapes of consciousness, and a guardian of the awakened dream.

You will not simply learn how to teach Yoga Nidra — you will experience it from within, embody its wisdom, and discover the extraordinary healing potential that emerges when we allow ourselves to rest deeply, surrender completely, and awaken to the quiet intelligence that lives beneath the surface of the mind.
